1. Who we are
Visit Patagonia is a local tour operator based in El Calafate (Av. del Libertador 1532) and Buenos Aires. We design and operate trips, tours, lodging and events across Argentine and Chilean Patagonia.
2. Scope
These terms govern every interaction with our website, contact form, online bookings and email or WhatsApp communications. By using the site you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it or place bookings.
3. Bookings
A booking is confirmed only when you receive the confirmation email with the voucher. Before that point, availability is indicative and may change.
Prices are published in Argentine pesos (ARS) or US dollars (USD) depending on your selection. They may change without notice due to exchange-rate movements, provider updates or taxes.
It is the traveller's responsibility to bring valid ID (passport) on the day of the service and to arrive at the meeting point with the indicated lead time.
4. Payments
Payments are processed via MercadoPago (card, transfer, cash at payment points) or PayPal (international cards). Card data does not pass through our servers.
Some premium tours or tailor-made packages may require a non-refundable deposit. We always disclose this before charging.
5. Cancellations & changes
Unless specified otherwise in your booking confirmation, the following terms apply:
- More than 7 days before the service → 100% refund (minus banking fees) or free reschedule.
- Between 7 days and 48 hours before → 50% refund.
- Less than 48 hours before → no refund, evaluated case by case.
- No-show → no refund.
If we cancel the service due to weather, force majeure or operational reasons, we offer rescheduling or full refund. We do not cover associated costs (flights, accommodation, etc.).
Requested changes (date, pax, extras) are accepted subject to availability and may carry price differences.
6. Liability
