Cerro Frías - Tirolesa
Excursion overview
The Quincho de Cerro Frias, in Estancia Alice, 23 km from El Calafate, is the meeting point to join the group of participants of this experience.
An initial technical talk, instructions on how to develop and after delivering the equipment (harnesses and helmets), we leave for the boarding platform, located 540 meters on the south slope of CERRO FRIAS. This route is done in four-wheel drive vehicles.
A thorough check of all the equipment and the participants are ready to fulfill their goal: To cross the almost 2,500 meters of cable, arranged in 5 routes. **During the tour you will be able to appreciate incredible panoramic views of the TORRES DEL PAINE, VALLE DEL CENTINELA, LAGO ROCA and BRAZO SUR del LAGO ARGENTINO.
Once the activity is finished, you will arrive at the disembarkation platform, from where the walk back to the barbecue area begins.

This excursion is only suitable for people between 6 and 60 years old whose weight does not exceed 110 kg. It is EXCLUDED for pregnant women, people suffering from diseases with risk of functional or organic deterioration during the walk, people with heart problems, people with disabling diseases in relation to coordination and motor skills. Maximum weight: 110kg. Children between 6 and 9 years old, depending on their physical constitution, must cross with an Activity Guide. CERRO FRIAS reserves the right of admission for safety reasons. If any person does not follow the safety instructions given by the staff, he/she may be removed from the tour.
